Kings Return
A GRAMMY®-nominated a cappella quartet from Dallas whose four voices blend so richly they can sound like a full choir. R&B, jazz, gospel, pop, classical and holiday music, sung with no instruments at all, and followed by more than a million fans online.
Four voices, one sound
Kings Return
Kings Return were discovered through bare-bones videos sung in stairwells and hallways, where their harmonies filled the room the way a choir would.
Their sound has earned comparisons to Take 6 and Boyz II Men. What sets them apart is how freely they move between styles: R&B entwined with moments of jazz, bursts of gospel and touches of pop, all built on classically trained voices. Every note on stage comes from the four of them.
Kings Return began in 2016 as a college recital project led by Gabe Kunda and settled into its current lineup in 2020. That summer their arrangement of "God Bless America" went viral, followed in 2021 by "Ubi Caritas," which passed 10 million views. Their debut album ROVE (2022) includes "How Deep Is Your Love," nominated for the GRAMMY® for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella. Their newest release is KRNB.
"I know they are not lip syncing but it almost sounds like they are because they are so perfect!"Jay Leno, after Kings Return opened for him
The "Return" in their name is about giving back to the communities that have supported them. As Gabe Kunda puts it: "When we come together to do this vulnerable thing called a cappella, it strengthens our bonds… We want to be examples for other men like us."
The voices
Vocalist, songwriter and producer from New York, with a master's degree in jazz voice. Also plays guitar and piano.

We Four Kings
Each December, Kings Return bring a full holiday program to the stage, built around their holiday album We Four Kings.
The show moves the way their music does: jazzy standards, carols sung with choral warmth, R&B holiday classics and a little playfulness. Highlights include their own a cappella Kings' Nutcracker Suite, a stunning "O Holy Night," and favorites from Vince Guaraldi to Donny Hathaway.
Holiday music has been part of the group from the start. Their first release was the jazz-leaning EP Merry Little Christmas (December 2021), and the We Four Kings album added guest artists Christie Dashiell and Isaiah The Alchemist.
From the holiday repertoire
